Gibson Explorer
The Gibson Explorer, which has also been called the X-Plorer and Explorer Pro, was originally called the Futura when it was introduced to the market in 1958. Due to the release not being as profitable as Gibson guitars needed, they were discontinued in 1959 but later re-released in 1975.
